Our team has been installing high-quality synthetic turf applications for over 10 years, and we take pride in providing safe and long-lasting solutions for our customers. Whether you're looking for information about the safety of our products, their longevity, how to care for them or the average cost of synthetic turf we've got you covered. Read on to learn more!

Our synthetic turf products are manufactured by Synthetic Turf International in Dalton, Georgia (STI Turf), a trusted member of the Synthetic Turf Council Certified System Builder and a LEED member. Our artificial grass is made in the USA and it also complies with California's safety requirements. We've made choices as a company that cost more but make our installations safe for our clients and employees. W prefer to use non-toxic and safe infill products that don't carry Proposition 65 labels, so you can be confident in the artificial grass installation safety. We don't use silica sand infill or crumb rubber on our turf projects. When it comes to superior and safe artificial turf products, you can trust us to be your local Tacoma/ Seattle area synthetic turf installer. Our turf is also PFAS-free.

With over a decade of experience installing synthetic turf, we have yet to see any of our products fail short of their warranty. Our artificial grass products are of outstanding quality and are constantly improving. Typically, our fake grass installations last between 10-25 years, depending on several factors. Turf yarn type and pile height are important considerations that can affect the longevity of your synthetic turf project. When it comes to dog turf or the best playground turf options it's important to select products that are made to deal with high traffic. We can guide you in choosing the right turf yarn types in order to maximize the lifespan of your artificial grass backyard!

During the peak hot weather conditions, synthetic turf will warm up like most surfaces such as sand, asphalt or concrete. Keeping artificial turf cool is easy by  simply hosing it down before you plan to use it while barefoot. Keeping an existing sprinkler system in the installation area can also help rinse off the turf on hot days. Artificial grass does not stay cool like a natural lawn does but the cooler NW climate makes this generally a non-issue. Envirofill infill is designed to keep turf grass cooler by offering exceptional drainage and airflow qualities.

We offer an aftercare program that includes cleaning services. Synthetic Turf can be easily cleaned using the combination of a good quality blower and the occasional rinse off especially during warmer weather and for pet turf applications. If you want to use cleaning products, we recommend consulting with us first, but most cleaning products are safe for synthetic turf. The top dog turf cleaning products we recommend to our clients are enzyme cleaners by OxyTurf or ProVetLogic.

Regularly rinsing areas where your pets relieve themselves with a garden hose is also a good practice. Generally, replacing your natural lawn with synthetic turf drastically reduces required maintenance. You'll also have a completely green lawn year round and more free time to spend on other important tasks!

If you want to see the best synthetic turf products in the northwest for yourself, please contact us for a free estimate.

We have several very realistic look options that mimic natural grass very well. Many of our artificial grass products have tan or brown thatch layers that add body and give them dimension. Our goal is to provide you with the best looking artificial grass available.

Our average lead time for new synthetic turf installation in Washington State is approximately 12-16 weeks. We hope your find that we are worth the wait!

Many local companies use subcontractors for their turf installations which can decrease the lead time. We, however, pride ourselves on never subcontracting out any portion of our projects. By working on every aspect of your artificial grass installation in-house, we can ensure quality results. When you choose us for your local synthetic turf installation, you can trust that our dedicated team will be the ones executing the project from start to finish rather than a hired out third party.

Generally, our turn key synthetic grass installations cost between $11-18 per square foot. Putting greens and playground projects are more expensive as they require extra materials and detail. Average cost for artificial turf putting greens in 2024 is between $18-24 per square foot. Synthetic putting greens can cost over $24 per square foot depending on scope and size. We try our best to keep our synthetic turf installation pricing as competitive as possible while still using the best and safest products available. Factors such as access to the installation area and overall square footage are important in determining the final turf project cost. Synthetic Turf of Puget Sound provides local Tacoma/ Seattle area turf estimates for free and are happy to answer any questions you may have to help you make a sound decision for your yard.

We use several different turf sub-base options depending on the project. Commercial grade geotextile non-woven landscape fabric is used on every project to help prevent weed growth while also acting as a soil/ base separator. Clean or minus crushed rock under the turf is used depending on the application and drainage needs. Artificial grass putting greens require a special finer rock that is used like a frosting to shape the final undulations. Synthetic Turf playground pads are installed above the the rock layer to provide cushion where fall height requirements are necessary to be met.
