Retired Living Along Alderbrook Golf Course

This artificial grass project took place along the Alderbrook Golf Course, where a retired couple wanted to simplify their yard without giving up how it felt to live on the course. The goal wasn’t to make the space look flashy or over designed, it was to create something clean, consistent, and easy to live with year-round.

They chose Autumn Fescue for its softer, natural look and the way it blends with the surrounding landscape. It keeps a realistic tone without standing out against the fairway views, which was important to them. To finish the surface, we used Envirofill infill for its stability, cooling properties, and antimicrobial benefits, a good fit for a low-maintenance yard that still gets daily use.

As with all of our synthetic turf installations, the prep work was an important part aspect. We focused on proper base construction, drainage, and clean transitions so the turf sits naturally and performs the way it should over time. We used a Rock Slinger truck in order to reduce the footprint of heavy machinery in a sensitive area. The end result is a yard that stays green, drains well, and no longer needs mowing, watering, or seasonal cleanup.

For homeowners along golf courses or in retirement communities, this type of installation offers a way to keep outdoor spaces looking polished without turning yard care into a chore. This Alderbrook project is a good example of how synthetic turf can quietly improve how a space functions without changing the character of the property.
